Welcome to KEYS
Our Vision PDF Print E-mail

The KEYS Program has a dream that all kids with cancer can enjoy the benefits of music as part of their treatment, recovery, or journey.  KEYS vision is to make this dream a reality by giving away special music therapy gift packets to kids who are in hospitals, camps, and in hospice care.

Sharing the gift of music is our goal and kids with cancer are our first priority.  However, KEYS also reaches out to many kids with various serious illnesses, disabilities and injuries - so every child, no matter their  disability or illness, is able to reap the powerful benefits of music!

Please browse through our site to read stories from kids about their amazing experience with KEYS; learn about our special training programs for parents, teachers, and medical professionals; and see how you can help us unlock the music in every child's heart and make our dream a reality!

KEYS will have a booth at the Health & Fitness Expo at the Boilermaker Road Race in Utica, NY this weekend and we would love it if you stopped by to say "hi"! We'll be at the booth Friday (Noon-7pm) and Saturday (9am-4:30pm).  We will be holding our new "KEYS to the Heart" check, checking heart rates while people listen to our music therapy CD to show them how music can help calm and slow their heart rate.

Thank you for your gift of Dawn's Song for our 4 year old son, Matthew.  Listening and singing along to the music together has made his chemotherapy treatments go by so much easier.  it is heartwarming to know we have a wonderful organization like KEYS to help us with our battle against leukemia. --Mrs. James
