Each year, the KEYS Program improves the quality of life for more than 4,000 kids with cancer and serious illnesses by providing families music therapy resources than help alleviate the pain of chemotherapy treatments, calm the scared hearts of children facing surgery, and brings peace to those brave kids journeying through the end of life.

We do this at no cost to the families we serve thanks to hundreds of dedicated volunteers who host fundraisers throughout the year to benefit KEYS Kids!  We call these wonderful supporters our Music & Dreams Teams!  We would love for you to join our team!

Getting started is easy!

1. Form a Team - Gather interested friends, co-workers, or members of your organization/club! (Teams can be any size!)
2. Register - Contact us by email or phone telling us about your team! (Don't forget to create a cool Team name!)
3. Review your Music & Dreams Packet - When we receive your team information, we will send you a packet of information with tips and ideas to help get you started!
4. Have Fun - We encourage each team to create a fun and creative way to raise funds for KEYS Kids!
5. Share Your Event Info With Us - Let us know about your event and we'll add it to our events calendar! (Be sure to call with any questions too!  We are here to help!)

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for KEYS!  Our volunteers hold a special place in our heart and help us to keep music alive and beating in the hearts of thousands of KEYS kids each year.  Here is a list of some of the areas where we need volunteers:

• Corporate Involvement Committee:
  If you are a business person or involved in Rotary, Kiwanis, or Zonta clubs, this committee is for you!  This committee helps to network with businesses & corporations on behalf of KEYS staff to encourage involvement in our Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve project, Dress Down Days, or sponsorship.
• Music & Dreams Team Committee:
  If you like working with school-age groups and teens, this committee is for you!  This committee meets with students who are involved in clubs in their schools to encourage them to become involved in having fundraisers to benefit KEYS Kids.
• Golf Outing Committee:
  This committee coordinates our annual golf outing, from setting up the location and getting hole sponsors, to registering players and enjoying the festivities!
• Making Music for KEYS Kids Committee:
  If you are a retired teacher or college student looking for student teaching experience, this is a perfect fit for you!  Music teachers are needed to volunteer to teach piano and voice lessons.
• Dawn's Song Musicians Committee:
  Musicians welcome!  We need musicians from all genres to help record our Dawn's Song Cds, donate their own CDs, or perform for special events!
• Music Teacher of the Year Committee:
  This committee helps in the selection of our annual Music Teacher of the Year award recipients.
