Dawn's Song Program PDF Print E-mail

Music is a great source of therapy, helping to ease the pain of chemotherapy treatments, soothing the agitated heart of a scared child, and helping to provide peace and serenity for those children who are journeying through the end of life.  Most importantly, the magical power of music brings hope and joy to the hearts of children in need.  For that reason, we created Dawn's Song.

The goal of Dawn's Song is to provide parents, medical staff and caregivers the tools and knowledge they need to be able to improve the quality of life of the kids they care for through the power of music.  KEYS gives each family we serve a special Dawn's Song pack that includes:

  • music therapy CD
  • information on the benefits of music therapy
  • musical activities parents can do with their child
  • relaxation songs added especially for parents, to help alleviate the tremendous stresses they face when having a child with a serious illness.
